Luminwell Foundation is a Canadian nonprofit and social enterprise dedicated to transforming youth mental health support through connection, compassion, and lived-experience-driven care. Based in Waterloo, Ontario, Luminwell exists to bridge critical gaps in traditional mental health systems by creating accessible, human-centered pathways that help young people feel understood and supported.

Across Canada and beyond, many young people face significant barriers to care, including long wait times, financial limitations, stigma, and a lack of emotional understanding within existing services. Luminwell was created in response to these challenges, building support systems rooted in peer connection, community, and real lived experience rather than distance or clinical formality.

At its core, Luminwell is guided by one belief: healing begins with being understood. Our mission is to reduce isolation, strengthen community support, and ensure that no young person has to navigate their mental health journey alone.
